CICADAMATA Terminals & Sphere Murmurs (Collectibles Guide)
The two collectible tracks
TERMINALS are viewable data screens placed inside levels — the achievement + EAT THE PATH (“view every TERMINAL”) confirms full coverage is tracked globally, and only 4.3% of players have it. They carry the game’s lore text, in the same cryptic register as the store page.
SPHERE MURMURS are per-sphere audio collectibles — + ST. SANVEI asks you to “listen to all SPHERE MURMURS” (4.8% of players). We know murmurs are tied to spheres rather than individual levels from the name and from patch notes: ONEDOTZERO_REV5 fixed “a minor capitalization oversight in the SPHERE 6 murmur”, confirming each sphere carries its own.
Hunting them without a map
A complete, verified location list does not exist yet anywhere — the game is a week old, and we will not invent one. What is reliably true right now:
- Terminals are visual and stationary. They read as screens/panels in the level geometry. Off-route corners and high perches are consistent hiding logic in every movement game of this school, and CICADAMATA’s freeform levels mean nothing gates you from sweeping a map after clearing its THREATS.
- You can hunt post-clear. Levels do not force an exfil, so a collectible sweep run — clear the fights, then comb the map — is the low-stress approach.
- Replays are cheap. Level select plus fast restarts (the game is built for repeat runs) makes per-level sweeps practical; pair the hunt with score farming for your DMND attempts.
Why bother
Beyond the two achievements, terminals are where the story lives — the story & characters guide is built partly from what terminal hunters have surfaced. And both tracks feed the 100% capstone + TEAR FLESH FROM BONE (currently 0.1% of players).
Status of this page
This is a living page. As multi-source-confirmed terminal/murmur locations are documented by the community (Steam guides, r/CICADAMATA), we will add per-level tables — confirmed entries only, no guessed coordinates.
Thanks for the feedback!
